Berwick Ambulance News

Berwick area ambulance, along with multiple other local fire, rescue, and law enforcement agencies, participated in a SADD drunk driving simulation to deter students from driving under the influence.  This event was focused on the upcoming Berwick Prom and created a scenario that first responders come across all too often during these types of events in hopes of preventing any such events this year.

Our MICUs 92 and 97 were accompanied by our Ambulance 96 and Squad 90 to provide real life EMS patient extraction, packing, and transport.  The county corner's office also provided personnel to simulate a fatality on scene.

We would like to thank Berwick Area High School and Students Against Destructive Decisions for allowing our service to participate in this year's event and hopefully preventing the tragedy that drunk driving can create.
