Berwick Ambulance Services

Berwick Area Ambulance provides ambulance and wheelchair van services to the Greater Berwick Area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are staffed around the clock to provide rapid 911 response and also non-emergent services including, ambulance and wheelchair van transportation services. We are also able to provide EMS staffing solutions to other public safety organizations and staffing for special events. We have 5 fully equiped ambulances, 2 wheelchair vans, 1 paramedic intercept vehicle and a special events trailer.

Berwick Area Ambulance also offers and sponsors continuing education for emergency medical professionals in various areas such as CPR and PHTLS.

Berwick Area Ambulance is also an EMS Strike Team providing emergency medical services during disasters and has responded to such events as Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey and Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana.

Berwick Area Ambulance is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization which runs on reimbursements from ambulances services, and donations.

Company Information

Berwick Area Ambulance Association Inc. is a non-profit organization providing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week ambulance coverage to the Greater Berwick Area and many surrounding communities and has been in service since 1959. We provide 911 service coverage to over 250 square miles in both Columbia and Luzerne Counties. Our ambulance services are based out of two locations one in Berwick Borough and one in Mocanaqua staged at the Mocanaqua Volunteer Fire Company.
